The year commenced with our AGM followed by our members meal at Waterlooville Golf Club.

After 33 years Mike Read stood down as President and Councillor Chris Ranger, chair of the Denmead Parish Council, kindly agreed to take his place as honorary President. 

The Association thanked Mike for his years
of service, and Chris Ranger presented Mike with an engraved tankard to remember his time as president.

A wonderful evening of entertainment courtesy of Folks in Harmony, an a capaella choir singing unaccompanied in four part harmony, led by their musical director Connor Judd.

The evening started with a medley of songs from the choir,  followed by Connor Judd  playing two solos on the piano before the choir ended the first half with a second medley of songs,

Neil Rusbrudger and his team laid on a fantastic finger buffet at the interval.

The second half commenced with the Barnacles, the choir's sea shanty group, and finished with a final medley from the choir.

A fantastic evening, raising funds for not only our association, but also for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance service.
