No not at all. Over the years, some of the most memorable conversations have come about from a melange of sign language, Google translate and the enthusiastic use of Franglais!
No not at all. Not all members host. Just come along and enjoy our activites. You can still get involved in the events when the French visit us. But you will not be able to go on the exchange weekend to France. That is because in France our members are hosted by a family, and you would be expected to reciprocate should that family come on an exchange to Denmead.
The association is self funded. We arrange fund raising events throughout the year. To host our French friends every other year it costs on average £100 per visitor. We encourage our members to support our fund raising events when they can, and also bring along their friends. Our aim is to raise approximately £4,000 across a two year period to fund the twinning weekend.
We charge a modest annual admin fee of only £11 for a solo membership or £22 for a joint membership. So whether you are a couple or a family of five, the cost remains at £22 per family unit. You can if you wish have a 5 year membership where you get 5 years for the cost of 4. So £44 for a solo membership and £88 for a jointer membership
Yes you can. But first you need to register as an "Associate Member" which is free. Go to our Members area for more information on being an Associate Member. This will give you access to our online ticket system. (see below)
Just click on the unsubscribe button on the bottom of our emails.
Tickets can be purchased from our online DTA store. Click here to go to the store. A separate window will open up. Alternatively you can click on the link on the events page on this website, or click the "store purchase" button if you are in MemberMojo, which is on the "your membership" page.
